ISD Youth Day Camp - Open to Youth 11 Years and Older
Tuesday December 27 | 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Masjid Ibrahim 28 Salem Church Road, Newark DE 19713

If a person suddenly asks you who your role model is, how would you react? Will you answer truthfully because you know your role model well? Will you think about a satisfactory answer, which sounds good even if it is not true? Will you consider the question to be insignificant and not think about answering it in the first place? Will you be frank and plainly say that you do not have a role model?

Islamic Society of Delaware invites Muslim Boys and Girls of age 11 and above for a day of Enlightenment, Interactive Learning and Fun Activities. The Day Camp is open to Middle School, High School and College students. There will be minimum Lecturing and the emphasis will be on Panel Discussion, Active Participation and Presentations. At the end of the camp, participants should have a clear understanding of who your Role Model should be!!! The Camp is free and lunch and snacks will be provided. Saturday December, 17 at 4:30 AM

The unimaginable crisis in Aleppo is heart wrenching and there is no end to violence. Muslim scholars around the world are urging the Ummah to pray Tahajjud during the night and make Dua to Allah SWT for the People of Syria, where many are being killed and thousands are fleeing or attempting to flee. Pray that they will be protected and that the peace of Allah will fill their hearts. Pray that Allah will bring the resolution to this conflict according to his perfect plan. Ask Allah to hear the cries of the people, bring healing to those suffering from the violence, and bring comfort to those mourning the dead. Aameen.

Islamic Society of Delaware is requesting all community members to join us in Tahajjud Prayers this Saturday and pray together for Syria.  Sheikh Abdel Hadi will lead the prayers at 4:30 AM and make Dua for the Muslim Ummah suffering in many parts of the world, especially for the people of Syria.

Dear Respected Community Members Assalamo Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahe Wa Barakatuh:

InshaAllah, The Islamic Society of Delaware (ISD) will hold its Year End Annual Fundraising dinner and 40th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, December 10, 2016.

During this historic event, the Islamic Society of Delaware will recognize the founders of ISD for their vision and selfless contributions towards the betterment and unity of our beloved community. MashaAllah, we see the result of their vision before our eyes.

Furthermore, it’s the continued support and contribution of all our beloved community members (you) that enabled ISD to grow into the largest Islamic Organization in Delaware.

As the largest Islamic organization in Delaware, ISD has been providing multitude of services to the community, including Full-time School, Weekend School, Quranic Academy, financial support to local community members and other communities at large, halaqas and many other Islamic educational programs. InshaAllah, with the blessing from Allah SWT and your duas, we’re hopeful to add the Muslim Cemetery to the list of services provided by ISD to local and tristate area Muslim Communities.

The ISD Executive Committee and Board of Directors cordially invite you and your family to honor us with your presence at this historic event for ISD community.

The goal for this fundraising is to raise $100,000 to support regular Operating Expenses (for six months), Hiring of ISD Admin / Youth Program Coordinator and other miscellaneous expense.

We express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and contributions.

May Allah (SWT) reward you immensely for your financial and moral support
