Islamic Society of Delaware Weekend School will start on Sunday September 15th. School registration is open for new and returning students.

Youth Hadith and Quran Program

Sunday School also offers a Youth Program for Youth 14 and above This is an interactive program which allows teens to actively participate in discussions and learn under the guidance of qualified instructors. Students of the Youth program will also have opportunities to be involved in Community and Welfare activities.

German Club Picnic Area

Please join us for the ISD Eid Al-Adha Celebration Picnic on Sunday September 2nd at German Club Picnic Area near Masjid Ibrahim. Free parking will be available at German Club, Masjid Ibrahim and on Salem Church Road.
We have arranged for Games, Moon Bounce and Slide for kids entertainment. 
Fresh BBQ Food and Ice Cream will be available for purchase.

There will be a water slide for the kids. We request parents to bring a change of clothes for the kids because they will get completely soaked.

We will be continuing the monthly family halaqa given by Sheikh Abdel-Hadi for the month of September. The topic will be Riba: What is and how does it relate to loans and modern finance contracts? There will be no potluck dinner.

ISD will be hosting its annual Hujjaj Potluck Dinner on Saturday, September 29th at Masjid Ibrahim. This annual event gives the community an opportunity to welcome theHujjaj and congratulate them for their blessed pilgrimage. The Hujjaj will be sharing their experiences and will offer advice on important aspects of the Hajj.

This is a Potluck dinner and we encourage every family to bring a dish to share with their family and friends

Eid al Adha to be Celebrated on Sunday, August 11th
Eid Prayers at Chase Center

Based on the Dhul Hijjah moon sighting on Thursday August 1st in Saudi Arabia, the month of Dhul Hijjah begins on Friday August 2nd, 2019. The Day of Arafat will be on Saturday, August 10th, 2019 and the first day of Eid al Adha will be on Sunday, August 11, 2019.  In the sacred days of Dhul Hijjah, please pray for the wellbeing of the millions of Muslims suffering throughout the world.  May Allah SWT accept from all of us.
Islamic Society of Delaware wishes a happy and joyous Eid to the community.
