Funeral Home Costs

Professional services: Basic services of the funeral director and the staff, including making arrangement for the body with the hospital and the cemetery, getting the death certificate from the state office before the burial, and one hour for the religious preparation of the body. Janaza prayer will be offered at the cemetery or at the funeral home.

Use of equipment & staff for grave-side services and transportation: Use of hearse for the transfer of the body to the funeral home from the hospital or home, a basic casket (required by state law), and a concrete liner vault (required by state law). Total cost for funeral home… app. $3,000 to $3,500.

Silverbrook Cemetry Costs

SILVERBROOK CEMETERY costs include land cost (purchase of burial site) and labor cost (for preparation of the gravesite).

Total cemetery cost … approximately $1,400 to $1,500.
