| Dress Code:
We encourage students to respect themselves and adhere
to Islamic rules for dress. All girls are encouraged to
wear a head cover or Hijab. All students should wear modest
clothes with loose fittings. Clothes with inappropriate
images are not allowed.
Note: The School Principal or a
class teacher has the authority to decide whether the clothing
is appropriate or not.
Student Conduct:
All students must arrive on time (9:55 a.m.) and they
should be picked up on time. Students are expected to maintain
an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and Islamic
behavior. Parents are urged to ensure their children understand
the importance of education, respect for teachers, completion
of the assigned homework, the need for spiritual and physical
cleanliness, decency in dress, and Islamic behavior.
Classroom behavior:
Disruptive or distracting behavior is not tolerated in
the classroom. Only school related books and materials are
allowed in the classroom. Students are not allowed to leave
the building without permission at any time.
Warnings:
Any act of misconduct or disrespect by a student may be
cause for a warning or suspension from school. Three warnings
can result in the suspension of the student for the rest
of the year.
Grievance Procedure:
A parent desirous of seeking clarification for a particular
disciplinary action may do so by filing such a request in
writing within seven days of the action taken. This request
will be addressed and submitted to the School Principal.
Final decision rests with the principal.
Books and Supplies:
Books are supplied by the school. If a student loses a
book, a replacement can be purchased from the school. Students
are required to bring with them paper, pencil, textbooks,
and other school supplies every week. Book bags are recommended.
Students are responsible for their own belongings.
Parents Role & Responsibility:
Every parent is required to volunteer three Sundays during the academic year.
Please contact the principal to reserve your dates and responsibilities.
