Young Muslim Engagement

Masjid Ibrahim is a family place. Many parents bring their babies and young children to the Masjid to show them they are welcome in the house of Allah. While most events feature a space for children, some annual celebrations are held just for
our youngest members.

Events with Activities for Children

The Eid Picnic, held several weeks after the Eid holiday, is a family event often with inflatables to play on and picnic food to eat. Fundraising bazaars often have inflatables and games or rides. One year there was a man in a dinosaur costume stomping around the parking lot. Several young Muslims participate in the Clean

ISDs GOT TALENT

ISD’s Got Talent is an annual alternative to Halloween event. Held each year on October 31 st , the evening features a talent show by some of our incredibly creative Sunday School students. After the awards ceremony, the party breaks out into the parking lot for a marshmallow roast and s’mores. For more information on ISD’s GOT TALENT, please email Gretchen@isdonline.org.
